About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Tax Accountant who can take control of our Tax lodgement and advice requirements and be fully ‘hands-on’ in completing financial accounts, tax return preparation and lodgement for our SMSF, Trust, Company and Individual Clients. This is a great role for someone who has the experience behind them but now wants to take on a more autonomous role, managing the total process themselves and be rewarded for growing the business as part of a motivated team.
An individual who already has a quality and profitable client base who would like to discuss the prospect of a merger should also contact us.

 

About you
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will be able to demonstrate a stable employment history and be fully qualified with either a CA or CPA, with minimum 5+ years Australian tax experience.
Applicants will also require competencies in the following areas:
  • Strong SMSF Compliance
  • Understanding of BGL Simple Fund & Simple Ledger/Assistant Tax/MYOB (and/or other software)
  • Advanced computer skills particularly Excel
  • Must be technically skilled to give tax advice
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills in dealing with clients and the ATO
  • Manage the workflow with the lodgement listings
  • Liaise and prepare audit pack for our SMSF external auditor
  • Assist with the client’s strategies
  • Provide compliance and value-added services
  • Promote the firm’s additional services
  • Ability to improve processes.
